 Controller at our Portland, Oregon branch.

Job Overview:                                                                                          
  • Preparation of the company’s financial statements in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Policies and procedures that provide internal control over financial reporting
  • Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
  • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external lenders
  • Oversee daily operations of the accounting department
  • Manage the preparation of the monthly and annual financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements
  • Serve on Management Team and Senior Management Team
  • Coordinate the annual audit and provide information to support the mid-year review
  • Provide required tax data to parent company in preparation of Federal and state tax returns
  • Stand firm for financial integrity in all company matters
 
Job Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a controller
  • 4 Year Degree; Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with Accounting Emphasis
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
  • Shift quickly between topics, manage many deadlines, and demands effectively
  • Accounting software, excel, word and other software skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • This is an in-office position
