Accounting leadership:
Supporting policies, procedures and internal controls and planned changes.
Processing daily ACH and check batches for loan payments and disbursements.
Processing participation loan remittances
Tracking and requesting payment for notes payable payments.
Accounting for non-accrual and debt recovery loans.
Collaborating with lending teams to record transactions in the lending software.
Maintaining timely balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned by the Assistant Controller - Loans.
Supporting the goal for monthly and quarterly, financial statements being published within 10 business days of month-end.
Supporting the effort for the audited consolidated financial statements to be issued within 120 calendar days from year-end and without material adjustments or material weaknesses in internal controls.
Supporting with tax accountants needs for the timely filing of federal, state and local tax and information returns.
Supporting the information needs for the operating and capital budgets to be finalized before the start of the new fiscal year.
Maintaining accounting and financial internal controls to avoid control deficiencies and breaches leading to financial losses to Craft3 or impact to borrowers, lenders and others.

Participating with all members of the Craft3 team.
Contributing to the body of knowledge, sharing best practices and suggesting process improvement ideas.
Your experience
Commitment to the mission of Craft3.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience.
Experience with a CDFI or similar finance organization preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - None; however, accounting degree and experience with accounting with for profit and not-for-profit entities preferred.
Supervision
This position will not supervise any direct reports
Physical Demands
Frequently requires use of manual dexterity and repetitive motions, primarily with the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Travel
A level of travel is to be expected with job responsibilities covering a geographic area that includes the States of Oregon and Washington, branch office visits and company events.
