Under the guidance and support of the Controller, the Cost Accountant is responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits. This role will examine and review unusual cost records and ensure cost data is allocated correctly. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for end-to-end accounting including month end close, general ledger, maintenance, analyzing costs, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have CPG experience, possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Analyze production costs, including build of materials (BOM), raw materials, inven
