Millennium Partners, a US Government Contractor*, is seeking candidates for a full time accounting position. The position is located in Charlottesville, Virginia. The responsibilities include the following:
Reviewing costs and income and booking transactions into QuickBooks
Developing invoices to clients
Reconciling of monthly bank statements, and invoices to QuickBooks
Updating accounts payables and receivables
Reviewing annual accounts, adjusting entries and working with outside auditors on preparation of financial statements
Preparing monthly P&L statements by class and project
Preparing monthly trial balances and journal entries
Development of budgets and forecasting for accounts receivables, payables, cash flow and other responsibilities as assigned
Developing budgets for proposals and realingments for existing projects
Electronic and paper filing for record retention
Prefer five years of professional accounting experience
In depth knowledge and experience using QuickBooks
US government contract accounting experience desirable
Certified Public Account (CPA)
Telecommuting is allowed.
