We are seeking a strong candidate to assist leadership over the finance group at the Pacific Northwest regional headquarters in Gig Harbor, WA. A successful candidate must be well versed in GAAP and will support financial analysis, internal controls, budgeting and forecasting, job costing, and overall departmental efficiencies for the PNW region that includes Washington, Montana, Oregon, and Idaho. Responsibilities will include general ledger account reconciliations, providing financial support across the region, and financial reporting to the CFO. This position will join the senior leadership and will report to the local Regional President.

Prepare and consolidating regional financial statements
Prepare and reconciling the monthly WIP process
Establish and maintain internal controls
Reviews records of accounts to ensure accuracy
Manage all aspects of the general ledger
Provide monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses
Coordinate or assist with the budget process
Serve as a coordinator to external auditors and tax preparers
Timely filing of quarterly and annual employer payroll reports for multiple states in the region
Other duties as assigned

Must have good customer service skills and overall understanding of accounting
Must have strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities

This position directly supervises the Office Manager and provides supervisory support to the Office Manager for the rest of the accounting staff.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel Less than 10%. Little, to no, travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with minimum of seven to ten years of full cycle accounting experience
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Ability to function and complete work with competing priorities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Master of Accounting or CPA a bonus
Eight to ten years’ experience in accounting with progressively increased responsibility.
