Payroll Accountant for local CPA office. Responsibilities include:
Processing payroll for multiple clients, including some direct deposit payrolls.
Compute and submit payroll tax deposits.
Prepare and submit required monthly, quarterly and year-end reports, including workers comp reports.
Process wage garnishments and child support orders.
General bookkeeping skills, including input of client data and worksheet preparation.
Familiarity with payroll software, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of payroll rules and accounting procedures. Keyboard and 10-key proficiency. Applicant should have the ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner. This is a full time position. Please provide resume and references.
